What date do your Christmas Decorations go up?
Our Christmas decorations will be up by the end of November.


What if I am unable to get to The Parkgate Hotel because of inclement weather?
Unless The Parkgate Hotel is forced to close due to the inclement weather, we will not be able to refund or transfer bookings.


Do you have parking at The Parkgate Hotel?
No, but guests of The Parkgate Hotel can enjoy discounted parking at nearby Cardiff Westgate Street and Cardiff Greyfriars NCP car parks. More information.


How do I order a taxi?
Taxis can be booked from the main reception desk.


Will there be live entertainment at The Sorting Room Bar?
There will be live entertainment every Friday and Saturday between 19:00 and 22:00.


I am attending a Christmas Party Night, what should I wear?
The dress code for our Christmas Party Nights is strictly black tie.


Can you send me a Christmas brochure?
We do not have a printed Christmas brochure, though all information relating to festive stays, dining and party nights can be found on our website here.

How do I inform you of dietary requirements?
Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Alternatively, you can add these on to your reservation using the ‘manage your booking’ function on our website here.


I do not like the menu. Can you provide something else?
Whilst we will make every effort to cater for all dietary requirements, we are unable to provide alternatives to the set menu outside of those requirements.


Can I see the special dietary menu?
This menu will not be released until closer to the date. Please check the website for updates.


How do I book accommodation and is there a discount?
Party night bedroom rates are available on our website. Please book online with booking code ‘PARTYNT’ for the best available rates.


What are your payment terms?
Full prepayment will be required for all parties at the time of booking. We are not able to provisionally hold places at any of our parties, and we cannot accept part payments.


Will our group be sat together?
We will do our best to sit large groups as close together as possible however this cannot be guaranteed and depends on the set up of the party night venue and capacities.


Will we be joined with another group?
All of our party nights take place on tables of up to 12. Smaller groups may be joined to form one large table.


If a party night is listed as ‘Sold Out’ can I add people to my group booking?
Unfortunately, if a party night is detailed as sold out on our website, we are unable to accept any further bookings or additional guests on previously made bookings.


I am attending a Christmas Party Night, what should I wear?
The dress code for our Christmas Party Nights is strictly black tie.


How strict is the black tie dress code?
We ask that our guests respect the black tie theme to this party night and attend wearing dinner suits and cocktail dresses. Clothing does not have to be black, but does need to be suitable to the theme.


Can I visit to see the venue before I book my party night?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate site visits or show arounds of the venues prior to booking.


Are all Christmas Parties accessible for disabled guests?
We welcome everyone to our venues, regardless of any additional requirements they may have.
We understand that everyone is different, and a responsible Organisation will endeavour to provide an inclusive and accessible environment for all. Despite this, we have restricted disabled access in some of our properties.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know of any additional assistance you may need before your visit. In unfortunate circumstances that we cannot accommodate any requirements at your chosen event, we will arrange an alternative event location for you and your guests.

How do I reduce the number of people in my party?
Please contact the events team on 01633 410 252 to reduce the numbers within your party. Please note that all deposits are non refundable and non transferable.


How do I add more people to my party?
Please do this through the ‘manage your booking’ tool on our website here. You will only be able to add guests if there is availability on that party night. If the party night is full, please do not call the office as the team will not be able to add more guests to your booking.


I do not drink. Will there be non-alcoholic options available?
Yes, we will provide a non-alocholic alternative at all of our party nights.
