What if I am unable to get to The Parkgate Hotel because of inclement weather?
Unless The Parkgate Hotel is forced to close due to the inclement weather, we will not be able to refund or transfer bookings.
Do you have parking at The Parkgate Hotel?
There is no on-site parking, but there are a range of city centre car parks located nearby. Please note these are external locations and are in no way affiliated with The Parkgate Hotel. We do not accept liability for any loss or damages in the car park. More information.
How do I order a taxi?
Taxis can be booked from the main reception desk.
Will there be live entertainment at The Sorting Room Bar?
There will be live entertainment on selected nights. Entertainment schedule will be available later in the year.
Can you send me a Christmas brochure?
We do not have a printed Christmas brochure, though all information relating to festive stays, dining and party nights can be found on our website here.
Do you have a dress code for The Sorting Room or The Cwrt Lounge?
Guests are required to wear smart casual.
How do I inform you of dietary requirements?
Please advise a member of staff on the day of your visit of any vegetarian, vegan or allergen dietary requirements.
I don’t like the menu. Can you provide something else?
Whilst we will make every effort to cater for all dietary requirements, we are unable to provide alternatives to the set menu outside of those requirements.

What are your payment terms?
Your credit/debit card details will be required during booking as a guarantee. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the cancellation policy that applies to your booking.
Can I book Christmas lunch if I am not a hotel guest?
Yes, visitors and hotel guests can book online here.
Can I visit the The Parkgate Hotel on Christmas Day if I am not a hotel guest?
Our hotel is open on Christmas Day to those who have a pre-booked reservation for either lunch or accommodation.
I have made a reservation for New Years Eve, does this guarantee my table for the night?
Yes, if you have reserved a table at The Sorting Room Bar or Restaurant, this will guarantee your table for the evening.

What are your payment terms?
A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required during booking, with the full balance due 6 weeks prior to your event date.

How do I book accommodation? Is there a discount?
Party night bedroom rates are available on our website. Please book online using the promotion code PARTYNT. Subject to availability.
What are your payment terms?
£10 non-refundable deposit per person required at the time of booking, with the full balance due 6 weeks prior. We are not able to provisionally hold places at any of our parties, and we cannot accept part payments.
Will we be sat together?
We will do our best to sit large groups as close together as possible however this cannot be guaranteed and depends on the set up of the event.
Will we be joined with another group?
All of our party nights take place on tables of 10. Smaller groups may be joined to form one large table.
What is the dress code?
Please refer to our Christmas Party Night page for all details on the dress code.
How strict is the black tie dress code?
We ask that our guests respect the black tie theme to this party night and attend wearing dinner suits and cocktail dresses. Clothing does not have to be black, but does need to be suitable to the theme.
Can I purchase drink tokens?
Drinks can be ordered to the table using a QR code, or from the bar.
Can I visit to see the venue before I book my party night?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate site visits or show arounds of the venues prior to booking.
Can you send me an email with all the information on a party night in?

I need to reduce the number of people in my party?
Please contact the events team on 01633 410 252 to reduce the numbers within your party. Please note that all deposits are non refundable and non transferable.
I don’t drink. Will there be non-alcoholic options available?
Yes, we will provide a non-alcoholic alternative.
We welcome everyone, regardless of their requirements. Some of our venues have limited disabled access. If you require assistance, please inform us beforehand. If we cannot accommodate the requirements at your chosen event, we will endeavour to arrange an alternative venue.
