With its stunning features and elegant atmosphere echoing the hotel’s historic grandeur, The Parkgate Hotel’s largest function space takes its name from its former life as Cardiff’s grand old Post Office, opened in 1897 to mark the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

This exceptional room makes a memorable setting for larger weddings of up to 344 guests.  The flexible space includes its own private pre-event bar area and can be mixed and matched to provide just the right backdrop, whatever the scale of your celebration.

The Postmaster Suite is a licensed venue for wedding ceremonies.

The Telegraph Room

Intimate and atmospheric, our elegant private dining room echoes all the intrigue and drama it must have seen in days gone by, provided today by the open theatre kitchen where your guests will enjoy prime viewing while our chefs work away, revealing the secrets of the sumptuous dining they are about to enjoy.

This gorgeous room makes a fabulous setting for private lunches and dinners and provides an elegant experience for more intimate celebrations of up to 50 guests.

The Telegraph Room is a licensed venue for wedding ceremonies.
