The generous size of our Deluxe Suites offers fabulous space and comfort for families of two adults and up to four children.  Each individually styled suite features a super-spacious king bed, plus comfortable sofa bed and a separate children’s room with bunk beds.  There is also a coffee machine and in-room fridge, perfect for those late-night munchies and lazy morning starts. Nestled inside the impressive original bell tower which graced the roofline of the grand old Post Office, this beautiful room, perhaps the most unique of our three stunning Parkgate Suites, oozes historic charm and showcases stunning views of Cardiff city from the original feature fan light window. Providing a cosy king bed for two adults and a snug sofa bed that comfortably fits two children, The Tower Suite is as practical as it is impressive.

The Tower Suite’s unique architectural features elevate it to one of the most exceptional and atmospheric rooms in the house. With soaring ceilings, exposed metal beams and gorgeous original hand restored parquet floor, this stunning suite is sure to impress. To top it off, a fabulous feature bathroom with impressive double doors leads to a sumptuous soaker bath with premium Elemis products, walk-in shower and double vanity – prepare to indulge. The Parkgate Hotel offers nine dedicated accessible rooms, comprising of two different layouts, all located in close proximity to the passenger lifts.

Four of our accessible rooms have an interconnecting door to the adjacent guestroom, allowing discreet access for relatives or carers. A further five rooms include a single sofa bed within the room for closer contact requirements.

All guestroom doors are of a width compliant with regulations to accommodate wheelchair users, and each accessible room has been sized to allow for multiple wheelchair turning spaces within the layout. The entrance doors are electronic card-activated for ease of use.

Each accessible room features a wheelchair accessible wet room with the necessary grab rails, emergency alarm and equipment, in a contemporary style.  Sockets and switches are mounted at accessible heights and an emergency assistance alarm is located at the bedside.

Wardrobes within the accessible rooms have the facility for installing an intermediate level clothes rail if required for wheelchair users.
