With soaring ceilings, exposed metal beams and gorgeous original hand restored parquet floor, this stunning suite is sure to impress. The Parkgate Hotel offers nine dedicated accessible rooms, comprising of two different layouts, all located in close proximity to the passenger lifts.

Four of our accessible rooms have an interconnecting door to the adjacent guestroom, allowing discreet access for relatives or carers. A further five rooms include a single sofa bed within the room for closer contact requirements.

All guestroom doors are of a width compliant with regulations to accommodate wheelchair users, and each accessible room has been sized to allow for multiple wheelchair turning spaces within the layout. The entrance doors are electronic card-activated for ease of use.

Each accessible room features a wheelchair accessible wet room with the necessary grab rails, emergency alarm and equipment, in a contemporary style.  Sockets and switches are mounted at accessible heights and an emergency assistance alarm is located at the bedside.

Wardrobes within the accessible rooms have the facility for installing an intermediate level clothes rail if required for wheelchair users.
