How do I book a spa treatment at The Parkgate Hotel?

Spa treatments, spa packages and Thermal Suite sessions can be booked online or by contacting The Spa team on +44 (0)2922 745 595 We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, as availability is limited.

 

What time should I arrive for my spa treatment?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time for your consultation. Late arrival may result in a reduced treatment time.

 

What is your spa cancellation policy?

All treatments and access to spa facilities must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to your appointment are eligible for a full refund. Refunds are processed within five working days.

 

What should I bring to The Spa?

Robes, slippers and towels are provided for all spa guests. We recommend bringing swimwear if your booking includes access to the Thermal Suite.

 

What health conditions should I tell the spa about?

Please inform us before your arrival if you have any allergies, injuries, medical conditions, are pregnant, or have any health concerns that may affect your treatment or thermal suite session. A consultation will be completed before your treatment to ensure it is suitable for you.

 

Can I have a spa treatment during pregnancy?

Yes. The Spa offers dedicated pregnancy treatments designed to help relieve aches, pains, stress and tension during pregnancy. Please discuss your requirements with the spa team before booking.

 

What are the age restrictions at The Spa?

The Spa is available to adults aged 16 years and over. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by a supervising adult aged 18 or over. One adult may supervise a maximum of two guests under 18 years of age. Babies and children are not permitted in treatment rooms or relaxation areas.

 

What facilities are available at The Spa?

The Spa features elegant treatment rooms, dual treatment suites, a luxurious Thermal Suite and a hydrotherapy infinity pool with panoramic views across Cardiff’s skyline.

 

Is the Thermal Suite included with spa treatments?

No. Thermal Suite access is not included with spa treatments or overnight stays and must be booked separately in advance.

 

What is included in the Thermal Suite experience?

Guests can enjoy a 90-minute Thermal Suite experience, including access to the hydrotherapy infinity pool and thermal wellness facilities designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing.

 

Can I request a male or female therapist?

Yes. We have both male and female spa therapists. If you have a preference, please contact the spa team before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

 

Do you offer couples’ spa treatments?

Yes. Our dual treatment rooms allow guests to enjoy selected spa experiences together. Couples’ treatments are available as part of our treatment menu.

 

Does The Parkgate Hotel have a gym?

Yes. The hotel features a modern Fitness Suite equipped with the latest Technogym equipment. The Fitness Suite is available exclusively to hotel residents.
